Former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter Jr. will be in Durango on October 24th to talk about his recent book, Powering Forward: What Everyone Should Know About America’s Energy Revolution.

As the Founder and Director of the Center for a New Energy Economy at Colorado State University, Governor Ritter has a deep working knowledge of Colorado’s energy opportunities as well as the technologies and policies necessary for the country to transition to a clean energy economy. We’re thrilled to team up with our friends at Maria’s Bookshop and 4CORE to host Governor Ritter for a happy hour, short presentation and book signing. Books will be available for sale by Maria’s and the Governor will sign copies following his talk. SJCA and 4CORE will also be available to discuss local efforts to transition to a clean energy future here in the Four Corners.
